Payment

Payment must be made in full by cleared funds before a delegate may attend any program.

  1. To secure a booking payment must be made in full not less than 15 days before program event start date you wish to attend.
  2. For those who wish to book less than 15 days before program event start date, please ensure that you check availability for your chosen program on our programs profile pages.
  3. The delegate and the employer are jointly and severally liable for payment of all fees due to Europa Law Limited (‘ELL’).
  4. A receipt and VAT invoice will be sent upon receipt of payment.
  5. All payments must be made in Pounds sterling.

 

Transferring your booking

  1. You may transfer to another program of equivalent value at any stage up to 15 days before program start date.
  2. No administration fee will apply.
  3. Requests for transfer must be received in writing and received at least 15 days in advance of the program start date.

 

Substituting your booking

  1. You may substitute your booking for another delegate at any stage up to the start time of the program you have booked.
  2. Requests to substitute a booking must be made in writing in accordance with Paragraph 1.
  3. No administration fee will apply.
  4. Any substitute delegate must register for the program they wish to attend before the program start date.

 

Cancelling your booking

  1. Should you cancel your booking for whatever reason more than 15 days from the date the contract is concluded you will be entitled to a free transfer to an alternative course of equivalent value of your choice at any of our locations, within 12 (twelve) months of the date of the cancelled course.
  2. Your rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 are unaffected by any provision contained in these terms and conditions.
  3. Cancellation must be made in writing to info@europalaw.com
  4. ELL will not charge any administration fee upon your cancelling your booking.

 

Cancellation by ELL

  1. Without prejudice to the parties mutual rights in law, should ELL cancel the program for which you have booked you will be entitled to a full refund of fees paid.
  2. Without prejudice to the above, in the event of cancellation ELL shall not be liable for any losses whatsoever arising therefrom.

 

Disclaimer

  1. Without prejudice to your rights in law ELL shall not be liable for any loss occasioned as a result of reliance upon the content of any program or material provided in connection with a program or views expressed by the program presenter.
  2. ELL reserves the right to vary or cancel a program where necessary. No liability whatsoever shall arise on the part of ELL in this event.
  3. ELL reserves the right to alter the content, date, location and venue of our programs should the need arise.

 

Force Majeure

  1. If ELL is prevented from wholly performing its obligations to the client by circumstances beyond its reasonable control including (without limitation); government intervention, strikes, labour disputes, accidents, acts of God, national or local disasters, terrorism, war or any event causing the whole or a substantial part of a venue to be closed to the public, ELL will either (i) provide an alternative date or (ii) cancel the booking and refund all payments received.
  2. ELL shall have no further liability in respect of any matter arising from the circumstances referred to above.
